Saffron Porridge with Pistachios and Chia Seeds

Ingredients
1/3 cup traditional rolled oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk of choice
2 tsp chia seeds
30g raw or roasted unsalted pistachio kernels
1 tbsp sultanas
1/4 tsp saffron
Optional: drizzle of maple syrup
Method
STEP 1
Combine the oats, water, saffron and sultanas in a saucepan and bring to a boil before reducing the heat to low and stirring until the water has been absorbed.
STEP 2
Add the milk of choice and a drizzle of maple syrup if desired, stir till combined and the milk has been absorbed. You can add more water or milk depending on your preferred consistency.
STEP 3
Pour into a bowl and top with chia seeds and pistachio kernels.
